Description
Z-TAC Laryngophone
The laryngophone is a version of a microphone that checks out in situations when the sound may be disturbed by external factors ( strong wind, loud surrounding noise ). Two converters which are placed near the larynx intercept vibrations of the skin and process it into sound. These types of sets are commonly used by the law enforcement when the sound quality and the low-profile gear exposition is vital.
The laryngophone is equipped with a sound wire – it’s a clear elastic pipe that transmits the sound. Thanks to its properties the sound wire is very easy to hide. This is especially important for those working undercover.
You need a PTT button ( sold separately ) with a military type plug in order that the laryngophone works properly.
